Back in the 1920's citizens voted on the location of Met Hospital
When did we lose the control over what happens to it? Before Met the community came together to help build and expand Hotel Dieu and Grace. Hospitals have always been a community based decision. When someone came up with a plan the idea was floated by the community first. Most of the time the plan was acceptable to the community because it was well thought out with the community and healthcare in mind rather than a focus on profits.
